DESCRIPTION

It is able to manage several curves at the same time without having to resort to any keys, by a simple click. Used to move the selected curve by moving the OFFSET (+ or – 2°).

The new Malossi ignitions are a concentrate of the highest technologies implemented in scooter competitions. The new internal rotor ignitions have been designed to solve the problem of the technical limits of the original ignition groups: in fact, beyond 10000 rpm these are not able to ensure the necessary stability. in terms of performance, posing major, sometimes insurmountable problems for the development of competition gear.

The MHR Team II range is equipped with a non-remapable variable advance electronic unit with 3 trimmers:

  • the first (MAPS) to determine the advance curve selection
  • the second (OFFSET) is used to move the selected curve + or – 2°
  • the third (LIM) indicated more specifically for 4-stroke engines, allows the intervention of the rev limiter to be varied (from 11,500 to 14,300 rpm + limiter excluded)

In addition, it is equipped with 8 pre-installed curves which are distinguished by:

  • 1 for 4T motors variable advance
  • 6 for 2T motors with variable advance
  • 1 with fixed advance

We have also reviewed the other fundamental components such as the high voltage coil, which is now able to provide a maximum discharge voltage >40 KV for normal engine rotation speeds of >3000 RPM and an extraordinary recovery time
