DESCRIPTION
This OEM Adly Primary Sliding Slot Wheel is an internal component of the CVT, used in the CVT/clutch transmission, as shown in the Clutch category of the OEM Adly diagram.
Its function is to:
guide the movement of the variator rollers
transform centrifugal force into axial motion
allow the variator to open and close smoothly
ensure smooth and controlled gear changes
The slots determine the rollers' path. Their profile, angle, and depth directly affect the transmission's behavior (acceleration, smoothness, stability).
