This 11-coil, three-phase stator is the internal electrical generator of the GY6 125–150cc type 157QMJ engine.
It converts the mechanical energy of the crankshaft into alternating current (AC) for:
powering the AC CDI (ignition),
charging the battery via the regulator/rectifier,
powering the scooter's electrical circuits.
The ignition signal is triggered by the integrated pickup coil when the flywheel passes over it.
