Malossi is pleased to introduce two new gear covers for Piaggio 50 cc scooters and engines, designed for competitions and for sporty customization of the original vehicle.
Malossi, with a view to optimising all transmission parts, has remarkably reduced friction by replacing the original die-cast casing with sliding friction movements with two gravity-cast casings, equipped with special bearings.
These new casings, machined with extra-precise machine tools, are robust and lightweight and are able to withstand the very high workloads typical of competitions.
Completely interchangeable with the originals and equipped with all accessories, the Roller Crankcases allow friction to be reduced by 4% in the 2514521 MHR version and by 6% in the 2514603 MHR TEAM version. These latter crankcases, in particular, require the assembly of the Malossi Roller Gear secondary gears:
Ref. 2514521: MHR version to be coupled to Malossi secondary gears and the originals.
Ref. 2514603: MHR TEAM version to be coupled to the Malossi Second Roller Gear secondary gears.
