Polini offers the popular Hi-Speed variator for 50cc 4-stroke engines: Polini Hi Speed Variator Yamaha Aerox 50cc 4stroke Euro 4. This is a "standard" model that can be used with the original torque corrector and a standard belt.
The recalculated and optimized angles extend the transmission range and noticeably increase the power, which mainly translates into better revving, but also a slightly higher top speed. The range of the variator is provided with a very solid chrome coating which allows to reduce friction and therefore to obtain less wear as well as better performance. Everything is done to prolong the life of the product.
Delivery includes a harder push spring (+ 87%) and reinforced clutch springs (+ 35% - clutch engagement + 500 rpm). It is also highly recommended to use a lambda emulator (P171.0010) to adjust the air/fuel ratio to achieve a performance increase to match the variator.
