Design of the Malossi MHR Testa Rossa 70cc
Based on the MHR Team II, this Nikasil-coated aluminum cylinder features 7 transfer ports, a single-ring piston, and a two-piece exhaust port. Its design optimizes engine cooling and efficiency, with a large exhaust port and a narrow central bridge that reduces stress on the piston.
The iconic red anodized, multi-screw, separable dome cylinder head, CNC-machined from high-quality aluminum, not only improves performance but also gives it a racing look that clearly announces its destiny: competition!
Unlike the flanged version, this version is stud-mounted, allowing it to be used with standard crankcases, as well as with the Malossi C-One. The crankcase requires some modification, but the installation instructions explain everything step by step.
Unlimited Performance
The Testa Rossa is no joke: 22 hp without any modifications. With the right setup—racing exhaust, internal rotor ignition, and a 28mm carburetor—more experienced tuners can push it up to 26 hp.
