Crankcase Malossi RC-ONE (Minarelli)

The result of extensive development by the Malossi team, the RC-One crankcase marks a turning point in the field of scooter competition by offering a technically innovative structure, designed for the installation of the latest generation racing components.

**It is essential to use Piaggio components (transmission, variation, kickstarter housing, crankshaft, cylinder, ignition).**

The housing intended to contain the reed valve has been considerably modified thanks to the most modern simulation software of three-dimensional fluid dynamics which has enabled Malossi technicians to find the ideal heights and dimensions.

The automatic mixer and the mechanical water pump have been eliminated to reduce dispersions as much as possible and the installation has been predisposed natively for the Malossi internal rotor ignition. In terms of the cycle part, RC-One for Yamaha is intended exclusively for scooters fitted as standard with rear disc brakes and does not provide for the alternative use of shoes. The center distance is increased and with it the stability and precision in turns, while the dimensions of the gear housing have been reduced considerably, by overlapping the cogwheels.

The increase in center distance and internal diameters have made it necessary to use the starter cover intended for Piaggio scooters. All RC-One for Yamaha crankcases are supplied complete with the necessary components for installation.

In fact, in consideration of the considerable technical differences compared to the standard unit, Malossi has decided to include in the package also the reed valve, the covers and a special wheel axle to use the original rear wheel and make RC-One perfectly interchangeable with Yamaha/Minarelli circles and hubs.
