DESCRIPTION
This OEM Adly oil seal is a radial seal used in the transmission, as shown in the Transmission section of the OEM Adly diagram.
Its function is to:
retain transmission oil inside the housing
prevent oil leaks
block the ingress of dust, water, and contaminants
protect internal bearings, shafts, and gears
The seal operates in direct contact with a rotating shaft. Its inner and outer diameters, width, and lip profile are critical to ensuring a long-lasting seal without excessive heat buildup.
