The side stand is a modification that is both aesthetic and practical. Indeed, by removing the central stand, the constraints for the exhaust pipes are reduced. (For the Minarelli Horizontal lower engine, the majority of Midrace exhausts and all High End exhausts require the central stand to be removed).
The installation is not complicated, 2 choices are available to you: it is possible to drill your chassis and pass a bolt to fix the stand support, this method can work but it is much less durable than the second . The second method involves cutting the kickstand bracket to make it shorter and welding it directly to the frame. It's solid!
There is no such thing as a 100% bolt on side stand, however installation is simple with minimal skill.
