The new Malossi ignitions are a concentrate of the highest technologies implemented in scooter competitions. The new internal rotor ignitions were designed to solve the problem of the technical limitations of the original ignition units: in fact, beyond 10,000 rpm these are not able to ensure the necessary stability in terms of performance, posing major problems in the tuning of competition machines, sometimes insurmountable.
We have made the electronics even more immune to interference by developing an STM8 uP-based microprocessor – 8 bits with a computing capacity exceeding 20 MIPS: this is to guarantee significantly higher spark accuracy than the previous version!
In addition, it has 8 pre-installed curves which are distinguished by:
1 for 4T variable advance engines,
6 for 2T variable advance engines,
1 with fixed advance.

Electronic box with variable advance equipped with 3 trimmers:
Trimmer MAPS: selects the advance curve,
Trimmer OFFSET: moves the selected curve + or – 2°,
Trimmer LIM: variation of the revolution limiter (16 possible positions)
