DESCRIPTION
Malossi has designed a grease variator which has been improved by using hardened and ground steel bushings. The barrel slides in an optimal way thanks to the use of a lubricating grease and two oil seals. This reduces friction to a minimum, which allows the maximum power to pass to the rear wheel, and throughout the duration of the race. It is known to raise the engines in revs on takeoff and early acceleration, an advantage for road use.
