This 6.5g (Weight Roller – original setup) OEM Adly variator roller is a moving component of the CVT transmission, used in the clutch/variator system, as shown in the Clutch category of the Adly OEM diagram.
Its function is to:
control engine speed according to vehicle speed
allow for progressive opening of the variator
determine acceleration and roll-on behavior
maintain an operating range consistent with the original settings
The 6.5-gram weight corresponds to the Adly factory calibration, designed to provide the intended balance between acceleration, engine speed, and reliability.
