DESCRIPTION
This OEM Adly external circlip is an external retaining ring used in transmissions, as shown in the Transmission section of the OEM Adly diagram.
Its function is to:
axially secure a component mounted on a shaft (gear, bearing, spacer)
prevent longitudinal movement
secure the transmission assembly under load and vibration
ensure precise positioning of rotating parts
The circlip fits into a groove machined on a shaft. Its diameter, thickness, and elastic tension are critical for mechanical reliability.
